DISC-LOCK announce partnership with LeJeune Bolt Company for
Industrial Fastening system!
DISC-LOCK announced a partnership with LeJeune Bolt Company, a
leading supplier of high strength bolts and fastening systems to the
steel construction industry for new high speed pneumatic
installation of locking nuts. DISC-LOCK International,
patent holders of innovative anti-vibration technologies, have
partnered to develop and market an anti-vibration fastening system
for the railcar, truck, and heavy equipment industries. This new
partnership brings together two different areas of fastening
expertise to provide a new single, simple, vibration-proof fastening
solution for industry.
The system features a new high-speed pneumatic installation tool
that allows a single operator to develop high clamp loads in ½”
diameter and larger bolts. Using proven tension control technology,
the bolts incorporate a twist-off spline that both precludes
over-tightening and provides visual quality control inspection. The
free spinning nut with the unique anti-vibration technology
completes the system. The nut will not loosen under vibration, yet
it is removable with standard tooling, making it perfect for
applications that need to be serviced in the field.
Executives at both companies are excited about the potential for the
